Indie band The National plans to stage a performance in Singapore for real after an unavoidable no-show at the Mosaic Music Festival.

Fans disappointed by The National's no-show at this year's Mosaic Music Festival due to the earthquakes in Japan can now breathe easy.

According to their official website, he popular indie outfit is set to perform in Singapore on Nov 6 at the Esplanade Theatre. Tickets will be available on Sistic from Sept 1.

The National is best known for their award-winning album, High Violet, which has been lauded by fans for "not having a single bad song".
