Singapore is no stranger to hashes, those ragtag teams of diehard runners who finish their sessions with copious amounts of beer drinking. In fact, we know of at least 11 such groups, with the oldest, the Hash House Harriers, going back to 1962. Well, now, there's a new kid on the block, upping the ante with promises of craft beer.

The Singapore chapter of the Mikkeller Running Club is lauching this weekend with its inaugural run. No word on the exact route, but it promises to be a gentle one, and it will probably involve a scenic twilight jaunt through the pretty streets of Bras Basah. Head down now to buy an official MRC dri-fit singlet and wear it on the day of the run (and be a member for life, we're told).

The meeting point is Mikkeller Bar Singapore on Jun 4, 6pm, and the run will last till 7pm (so plan your Pink Dot picnic accordingly!). If you finish the run, you get a free beer and some snacks back at Mikkeller headquarters on Prinsep Street.
