The French-Thai cultural event, La Fete, returns with the celebration of Alliance Francaise de Bangkok’s 100th Anniversary and will be held during Feb 2-Mar 29. More than 20 different artistic programs will be on offer during the nine-week period. Highlights include The Bangkok Symphony Orchestra and a Choir of 100 as the opening program of the festival, which will be held on Feb 2 at the National Theatre; Nouveau Cirque: Ieto, the contemporary circus performer that is a combination of tightrope walker and acrobat (Feb 9-10, Sodsai Pantoomkomol Auditorium); Thailand’s leading contemporary dancer in Pichet Klunchun and Myself (Feb 20-21, Sodsai Pantoomkomol Auditorium); and the Fete de la Musique, which will feature one of the biggest French hip hop outfits IAM, with support from Thaitanium (Feb 25, Museum Siam).
