American alternative rock outfit Garbage will be performing at the Fort Canning Park on August 21, the same day that Passion Pit is performing at the Esplanade Concert Hall and in the same month as New Order and Snow Patrol.

Fronted by the forthright Shirley Manson, Garbage is known for hits like "Only Happy When It Rains" and "Stupid People" (see music video below), and launched their latest work Not Your Kind of People worldwide on May 15.

Tickets are said to be in the $98-250 range, and will go on sale from June 5 via Sistic.
