"Let's dance. Put on your red shoes and dance the blues."

As the world continues to mourn the passing of David Bowie, who died yesterday aged 69, Bangkok party organizers Dudesweet are gearing up to pay fitting tribute to the legendary British rocker.

Taking place tomorrow night (Wed, Jan 13) at the recently reborn Silom nightspot Tapas, Goodnight, Mr. Bowie will see Dudesweet founders Note and Nut spin all Bowie's many, many hits. 9pm-1am, free entry.

Besides the likes of "Heroes" and "Station to Station," organizers are also promising select tracks from the bands he influenced, other notable glam-rockers and some contemporaries: The Smiths, Suede, The Killers, Bangkok's own Futon... maybe even some Bon Jovi.

These tracks ought to get you in the mood:

Silom Soi 4, 02-656-4249. Open daily 7pm-2am. BTS Sala Daeng. www.tapasbangkok
