It’s an exciting times for fans of the more underground art scene as Bangkok welcomes 15 international street artists for an exciting collaboration with leading local names like Alex Face and Mamafaka. The BUKRUK Street Art Festival is scheduled to take place between Feb 16-Mar 17 at Siam Square and BACC. The event kicks off with a party by Duck & Noodle on Feb 16 at the Pathumwan Intersection on Rama 6 Road, while walls around Siam Square, Ratchatewi and Klong Saen Saep will feature giant graffiti pieces. The second half of the event, starting Feb 23, will see a pop-up store on the 4th floor of BACC featuring paintings, illustrations, t-shirts and more. The plan is to make this an annual festival and help support Bangkok’s emerging street art scene.
