A slow-life market, a luxury clothing sale, a Rio-inspired block party, an outdoor concert at a library and a giant scrap-metal spider.
The iconic 49-story abandoned Sathorn Unique building near Saphan Taksin BTS station will be aglow with about 200,000 watts of light this Thursday about 8.30pm, symbolizing it as a monument to human folly and the denial of impending death. Some of the best spots to view include the south side of Taksin Bridge, Saphan Taksin BTS station, Wat Yannawa's parking lot and Bridge Art Space's rooftop. More here.
