Monument

The iconic 49-story abandoned Sathorn Unique building near Saphan Taksin BTS station will be aglow with about 200,000 watts of light this Thursday about 8.30pm, symbolizing it as a monument to human folly and the denial of impending death. Some of the best spots to view include the south side of Taksin Bridge, Saphan Taksin BTS station, Wat Yannawa's parking lot and Bridge Art Space's rooftop. More here.

Famous Korean paper sculpture artist Ho Yoon Shin presents an exhibition in celebration of the King's birthday. Opens on Nov 27 at Siam Paragon (5/F) at 4pm, and will remain on show at Artery Post-Modern Gallery until the end of the year.
