A competitive exhibition showing realistic and figurative art submissions for the prestigious art competition by Thai Beverage Company, with B1,000,000 going to the winning artist. This year's theme also celebrates HRH Princess Maha Chakri's 60th birthday.

Culture Collective Studio (Chatrium Residence) launches a new play this month. which is scheduled to run every Thu-Sun through Jun 7. The Death of Miss America is a comedy about a fictional Miss Tomorrow Pageant that touches on stereotypes of Asian women. Tickets are B800.

This weekend's your best chance to catch this art and fashion exhibition, featuring impressionist artwork by Danish-Armenian artist Elizabeth Romhild and surrealist paintings by Thai artist Aof Smith. Curated by Kimberly Henry of K Art Miami+Bangkok. There will also be a fashion show by Catische.

ART: India Through the Lens of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn
Witness the wonderful art, people and culture of India at the final exhibition of the Festival of India in Thailand. India Through the Lens of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will be open for public viewing from May 16-25 at Chulalongkorn University Museum, in celebration of the Princess’s 60th birthday this year.

ART: Spectrecular - Double O Seth Exhibition
Thai collage artist Sethapong Povatong uses a cut-and-paste method to create surreal scenes incorporating characters from popular culture. This exhibition collects his work from 2011-2015. Opening party on May 15 at 7pm, with music by DJs Somarange, Dookie, and a warm-up set by the artist himself. Open bar from 7-9pm.

FILM: Loud & Proud Film Screening
Free screening of three films from the Attitude Short Film Festival, with post-film discussions with the actors and directors. Held in at the same time at three other events in China, the Philippines and Sri Lanka. More details on IDAHOT 2015 here.
