ART: Gary Gagliano Exhibition

Bangkok-based American artist Gary Gagliano exhibits 20 paintings for his first solo exhibition in Bangkok. The artist is well-known in New York's art and fashion circles for his largescale abstract enamel paintings.

ART: Naked Allure Part 1 - Works on Paper

This group exhibition of nude artwork features over 150 pieces from 17 artists, including big names such as Vasan Sittikhet and Muangthai Busamaro. A live demonstration of nude drawing takes place at the opening.

CONCERTS: That's Entertainment! Kamala Sukosol's Annual Concert for Charity

A charity concert in celebration of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri 's birthday featuring Kamala Sukosol ("Live & Learn") and her family of entertainers headlined by Noi (Krissada from Pru). They will be performing a show inspired by musicals like The Sound of Music and Beauty and the Beast, jazz and latin beats, as well as today's hit songs. Support by big band orchestera and Aree School of Dance Arts. All income generated goes to the Princess Sirindhorn Craniofacial Center. Gala dinner on Aug 21 (B40,000-45,000 per table of 10 guests). THEATER: The Metamophosis

A theatrical adaptation of Franz Kafka's novel, featuring award-winning actress Irene Jacob, who'll be taking the audience through the meaning and value of humanity in the technological era. Play will be performed in French, with Thai subtitles in every round, Japanese subtitles in matinee rounds and English subtitles in evening rounds. Part of the upcoming Unfolding Kafka Festival in Bangkok. 7:30pm performances at Sodsai Pantoomkomol Center for Dramatic Arts, Chulalongkorn University. Extra 2pm matinee rounds on Fri-Sat.
