America's first pop band to hit 50 years, The Beach Boys, will be performing in Singapore this August as part of their anniversary tour.

On August 22, legendary American pop outfit The Beach Boys, will perform at the Singapore Indoor Stadium as part of their 50th Anniversary Tour.

Known for catchy hits like "Wouldn't It Be Nice", members of the 60s hit band Al Jardin, Brian Wilson, Bruce Johnston, David Marks and Mike Love will be touring together for the first time in more than two decades. Tickets are priced at $100, $175, $220, $275 and $350, and will go on sale via Sistic on May 16.

The Beach Boys, who last performed at the 2012 Grammy Awards, will also release a new studio album and a commemorative 50th anniversary catalog to celebrate this milestone. The studio album will feature new (and from what we've heard, golden) songs like "That's Why God Made the Radio" (see video below) recorded by all of the band's surviving original members.
