CONCERT
Part of The O.P.E.N. festival, BIOMASHUP is an energetic performance by Cristian Duarte which explores the history of dance and thrills with erratic movements and a live electronic soundtrack.

Join Tydi at Zouk for charttopping albums like Shooting Stars and hits like "Acting Crazy" and "Somehow". Even though Tydi has only burst on the electronic dance scene a few years ago, he's been Australia's No. 2 DJ for two years running.
 
FAIR
Brought to you by The Local People, Cuts & Coffee Art Market will feature DIY light painting and printmaking workshops, as well as barber service by The Midnight Coiffeur and cocktails from Citizen Pop. 
 
THEATER
Witty storyteller Shinoharu Tatekawa returns to perform the Rogaku, a traditional Japanese entertainment from the late 18th century. This time round he will collaborate with local storyteller Kamini Ramachandran.
 
FASHION
Newline’s Halo Capsule Collection will launch and be exclusively available at Kapok's flagship store at the National Design Centre. The collection offers a range of outerwear such as flight jackets and anoraks, as well as pants, tights, shorts, tops and backpacks.

MUSIC
In celebration of International Music Day, Charlie Chaplin classics will be screened free alongside musicians from Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music. There will also be tunes from Sing’theatre as they re-interpret hits from musicals like GreaseMamma Mia and Mary Poppins, and a ticketed screening of recent jazz film, Whiplash.  
 
FAIR
9MCM: The Jubilee Marketplace returns bigger than ever for its SG50 edition, with a heady mix of gourmet food, coffee, fashion, homeware and affordable art. 50% percent of proceeds will also be donated to a designated charity, so shop and eat to your heart's content. It's for a good cause.
 
COMEDY
Hosted by Becca D'Bus, drag revue RIO!T! will feature Marla Bendini, Mona Kee Kee, Noristar and The Vajayjays. It promises to be an entertaining night, fueled by passion, raucous jokes and performance.
 
CONCERT
Spend an evening of great music, great food, and an even greater cause with A Hundred Flowers, a fundraiser going towards relief efforts for victims of the earthquakes in Nepal. Local musicians wyd:syd, stillsunrisemusic, Bakers In Space, Riot !n Magenta, and The Voodoo Sound will be featured, and food and drinks stall are presented by Le Gluttony.
 
PARTY
The international Fete de la Musique features French DJ crew La Mamie and local music collective Kilowatt Soundsystem at Red Baron. The night also includes two travel documentary screening of Divin' Timor and Overcoming the Impossible, as well as tarot card readings and an arts & craft corner.

FAIR
The Gentle Paws SG50 Dog Adoption Carnival will feature exciting game and phototaking booths, a flea market, as well as a canine show and obedience performance featuring the rehomed pups. All proceeds from the flea market will go towards funding the shelter dogs at Gentle Paws.
 
ART
Group show Rendez-vous features 20 artists, whose works include sculptures by Nicolas Momein and Nikita Kadan, a video projection by Angelica Mesiti and a film program dedicated to the works of Sherman Ong. 
 
FESTIVAL
15 Stations, the augmented reality tour of Tanjong Pagar Railway Station is part of The O.P.E.N. and will take you on a journey through the defunct station via a downloadable app. There are three walks that last 30 minutes each, and will take you on different journeys around the station.
 
FILM
Another part of The O.P.E.N. festival, Horse Money, Pedro Costa's take on the immigrants in Portugal, will be screened at The Projector. The film will be in Portuguese but with English subtitles.
