Besides Eleven and Demogorgons, here's what you can expect at Halloween Horror Nights this year
Brace yourself
Thrill seekers, it’s time to get your horror fix at Universal Studios Singapore’s Halloween Horror Nights (HHN) as it returns for its eigth edition this Sep 27-Oct 31. We previously revealed that Demogorgons will be part of the experience thanks to a tie-up with Netflix's Stranger Things. But besides that obvious highlight, there's so much more in store and we finally know what else.
Unlike previous years, expect an Asian horror theme in the haunted houses. Be prepared to get horrified by an ancient Chinese vampire in a highly intimate experience, and if you are able to survive her “pleasant” welcome, then take the challenge up a notch by visiting Pontianak. Tread carefully in a Malay village and witness various hair-rising scenes to relive the story of the famed Malaysian ghost. Other featured Asian horrors include Japanese ghosts filled with resentment and hatred—just be sure to avoid their gaze.
And back by popular demand, there will be zombie laser tag again this year with an arena double the size, and filled with more zombies and crazier obstacles than before.
While it's still two months away from the event, start getting into the right mood with a series of original horror films by USS being released before the event (between July and August), a first for them. You can track their Facebook page for the latest release dates.
Tickets are priced from $58- $68. More information can be found here.
