POSTPONED: Whitney, Rejjie Snow and more to headline an awesome new riverside festival
That’s my jam.
UPDATE: On Mar 3, Have You Heard? announced they will be postponing the event due to the coronavirus outbreak in Thailand. They will be refunding tickets in full via Ticketmelon. The organizer has stated that the new event date will be revealed soon.
Bangkok concert organizer Have You Heard is teaming up with the people behind Bangkok’s uber-cool flea market Made by Legacy and Jameson Thailand to throw an epic riverside festival this Mar 28.
Jamcity by Jameson x Have You Heard, taking place at Sermsuk Warehouse, promises live shows, shopping, delicious street food and cool activities. Ten-plus acts will play across three stages, while a well-curated selection of 20 pop-up stores and 12 street food vendors offer alternative entertainment.
Headlining the festival are Chicago indie-pop/folk duo Whitney, known for hits like “No Woman” and “Golden Days,” and young-blood neo-soul Dublin rapper Rejjie Snow, whose groovy sounds can be heard in tracks like “Egyptian Luvr” and “Purple Tuesday.”
For local tunes, don’t miss pioneering Thai reggae band Srirajah Rockers, Bangsaen’s rising psychedelic surf rock band Khana Bierbood and Chiang Mai’s dreampop band The Vuniyerse. More acts will be announced soon, according to the organizers.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, Feb 7, at 10am via Ticketmelon. A group of four will set you back B1,600, while early bird ticket cost B1,800.
