The self-proclaimed "queen of rap," Nicki Minaj, will NOT be visiting Bangkok this April, beleaguered concert promoter Godzillionaire announced today.

In a post made to Facebook, Godzillionaire started that the concert previously set for SCG Stadium Muang Thong Thani on Apr 4 has been postponed due to “unforeseen internal complications” that are “out of their hands.”

The promoter says they are currently working with Minaj’s management and agency to reschedule the concert date in 2019.

Those who already purchased tickets are advised to contact Thaiticketmajor for a refund.

While the concert’s announcement in January was met with widespread cheer from fans, alarm bells did start to ring when it was discovered that the tour date was never posted to Nicki Minaj’s list of shows on her official website.

On top of that, the promoter pushed back the scheduled ticket collection date from Feb 23 to Mar 16. We reached out to Godzillionaire for clarification on this development but did not receive any reply.
