On Dec 6, in honor of the annual 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign, ila—a social enterprise aiming to help businesses be more inclusive while empowering gender-based violence survivors—is teaming up with volunteer-led group Bangkok Rising to host Thailand’s first Female Founders Farmers’ Market

An event that champions female entrepreneurship and raises awareness of violence against women, the market will take place at organic retail store and cafe Patom. You can expect to shop from more than 40 local brands selling everything from food to fashion and art, including Plant Donut, Bangkok Booch, The Rolling Pin, and Bambooyst. There will also be a panel discussion led by Amy Baum, international consultant at UN Women Asia Pacific; Bruna Silva, influencer and founder of Brewna Coffee; and Micky Kometsopa, founder of Flexi Lexi Fitness.

All proceeds from the event will go toward supporting a domestic abuse application developed by ila.
