The bottle shop at The Commons Saladaeng,
Cloud Wine, is launching their Cloud Wine and Friends pop-up dinner series where they invite talented Bangkok chefs for a pop-up dinner at the open kitchen space on the third floor at The Commons Saladaeng for less than B2,500.
Debuting next Thursday (Oct 27, 6:30-8pm), Cloud Wine will team up with chef Treerapan “Pong” Photiwan of
31 Degrees by Kad Kokoa. For B2,300 you’ll get four courses of cacao-based French bistro classics like the smoked cacao husk oyster blade with potato puree, cacao juice sorbet with mango yuzu, and cacao husk crème brulee.
You can expect the same elevated cooking techniques as shown in the Bocuse d’Or Thailand competition, and the four courses will be paired with wines curated by the Cloud Wine team.
This dinner series hopes to drop the typical wine dinner’s image of expensive and overly formal. You don’t have to know anything about wine to join, and it’s a great chance to discover new wines and flavors.
