UPDATE: On Feb 20, Live Nation BEC-Tero announced that they will be postponing Ruel's "Free Time World Tour Live in Bangkok 2020" due to the coronavirus outbreak in Thailand. They will be refunding tickets in full via ThaiTicketMajor, the call center (02-262-3838) and email cs@thaiticketmajor.com. The organizer has stated that the new event date will be Sep 12, 2020.

Back in September, BEC-Tero announced that Ruel is coming to Bangkok's Scala Theatre on Dec 7-8.

It seems the Australian singer-songwriter has a major Bangkok fan base, because they've already booked him in for a second round on Mar 14, 2020 due to "overwhelming demand"—good news for those who missed out on tickets for this weekend.

His 2017 single "Don't Tell Me" gained BBC 1 radio play from Elton John and last year he won Breakout Artist at the ARIA (Australian Recording Industry Association) Awards for his 2018 single "Dazed & Confused."

Tickets for both concerts are priced from B1,900 via Live Nation BEC-Tero. Pre-sale tickets for the concert in March go on sale on Dec 6, and general sale begins on Dec 7 here.

While you wait, have a listen to Ruel's now platinum-certified single "Younger" below.
