Love is in the air—well, the PM2.5 soup we call air, anyway. Valentine’s Day is once again hoving into view like a kaiju made of hearts and chocolate, but instead of destroying Tokyo, it emotionally mutilates you with a calendar.
In any case, if you want to get lucky on Valentine’s Day, you make your own luck. What’ll it be? A night on a boat? A dirty weekend in a hotel? A smorgasbord of cliches? Perhaps resurrect “Galentine’s Day?” Or, maybe you’d just like to celebrate Claudius, the Roman prefect who ordered Saint Valentine bashed to death with clubs and decapitated in 240, #ClaudiusDidNothingWrong.
