New York folk artist and songwriter Julie Byrne has announced that she’s on her way to Thailand next month.

After playing at Surasak’s Jam bar last February, Byrne will hit the stage at Bangkok's newly opened Lido Connect this Aug 16, with support from Thai indie folk singer Duen Chongmankhong and local folk rock band STOIC.

The 29-year-old American singer hit the world stage with her 2014 debut studio album Rooms With Walls and Windows. Byrne released her second album Not Even Happiness in 2017, with hits like “Follow My Voice,” “Sleepwalker,” and “Natural Blue”—which earned an 8.3 Best New Music score from Pitchfork.

Tickets for August’s show are available at Ticketmelon, priced at B1,300 for Early Bird or B1,500 for Regular. A limited number of front row seats (150) and bean bag seats (19) are also available.
