Thursday

Hallowee-prov

Yuk it up with the Mango Squad at Yellow Lane to kick off your Halloween early. Join some of the city’s favorite improv talent for a Halloween-themed improv matchup where the crowd calls the shots. More info here, Yellow Lane

Lanna Pairing

Dok Kaew House Bar will be inviting the craft beer of Chiang Mai for a pairing event with northern Thai dishes and five styles of craft beer from the Chiang Mai brand inside the Thai traditional wooden venue at Dok Kaew House. More info here, Dok Kaew House 

Tawfire Invites

Tawfire means “hot feet” so the night promises a good one for dance. Kicking off with Dott & Iyy, Per Hammer will be closing the evening with his techno, complete with visuals from Wisas. Tickets here, Blaq Lyte Rover

Bordeaux Private Tasting

Oct 25: Scream Queens Halloween Night Party

Halloween + Sausage Fest

Winner of the BAD Award 2024 for Best Dive Bar, Fatty’s Bar and Diner is putting on one of their famous sausage fests for Halloween with a costume contest and music from Aliens on Earth, Magic Carpet, Matthew Fischer, John Lindsey, Su San, and, aptly, Plague Pits. Popof: Mustache Grand Opening

Mustache has moved to the 5th floor of EmQuartier, and they’re kicking things off with quite a show from Popof, supported by Jules Blons. Even with Halloween weekend competition, this is sure to be a big party. Tickets here, Mustache

Feedback Friday

Jam is where you go to discover Bangkok’s up-coming bands. Feedback Friday’s night features  rock/shoegaze tunes from Saltfield, the Korat-based band Damage of Teenager, and Sukhita. More info here, Jam

Rocky Horror Improv Show

"Janet, are you a slut?" Nothing says Halloween like everyone’s favorite sweet transvestite from Transylvania. Join the Comedy Club Bangkok for an improv performance of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, featuring the tunes, jokes, and a whole new way to think about audience participation. Chim Pizza Party: Backyard Boogie

Who doesn’t like pizza and day drinking games? This Saturday, Chim Chim is hosting its “Backyard Boogie” pizza party from 2-7pm. Expect five hours of artisan pizzas and awesome wines from Wine Garage, who will have folks on site to advise on pairings. For those that are more competitive, try your hand at wine pong or an old school game of cornhole. There will be a DJ on site spinning house, funk, hip hop, and some 90s classics. Kangkao System One

Kangkao celebrates Halloween with a sci-fi theme, with stories and tunes like the threat from AI. Look for Thai artists like Hicham, Hakim, and more. This one starts early at 1pm but the party will keep going until late. Tickets here, 515 Victory

Party Monster Haus

Forget Halloween, now it’s Halloqueen. Go Grrrls are at it again with a mini-ball extravaganza. Starting at 9pm, you’ll have featured shows from Patcha and Babyjolystar followed by their monster mini-ball with runway, OTA, and best costume categories. More info here, Decommune

Art Battle

This will be an art competition—not an exhibition—where artists will go head to head and brush to brush. Join in for three rounds, and all artworks will be available for auction. Tickets here, The Fig Lobby

Flower Series 

Sound Pop will be hosting a photography exhibition from RARAMM, a Bangkok-based artist notable for his love for flowers. The Flower Series exhibits the magical quality of these subjects and tests the boundaries of imagination. More info here, Sound Pop Coffee

DJ Jade

The BAD Award winner for best rooftop bar has DJ Jade back with her progressive house, funky beats, and underground music. The show will start at 9pm and you should definitely book ahead for the best seats. More info here, Bar Yard

Tarot Cards Reading

Who says you can’t be supernatural at brunch? Gigi’s newer spot at Ekkamai is bringing tarot card reading sessions with Jan Natasha to help you answer the big questions—while eating good food. More info here, Gigi Ekkamai

Halloween Soap Making
