We’re well into the last month of the year, so that means Christmas is kicking off in earnest. Don’t forget to check out our fulsome list of Christmas events, updated every weekend. For this weekend we have a drag party at So Bangkok, Christmas (and horror) themed improv, and one of the biggest festival events of the year, Wonderfruit.

Wonderfruit - Dec 12-16

Only recently announcing their festival dates, Wonderfruit is, of course, returning for 2024.  The festival debuted in 2014 and remains a must-attend event for music, festival, and art enthusiasts all over Southeast Asia. The four-day festival “The Burning Man of Asia,” features underground music from world-renowned DJs, up-and-coming artists, and local Thai bands. More info here, The Fields at Siam Country Club

 

Velvet Sins

Thursdays are usually for ladies’ night, but the Iron Balls - The Parlor is doing one for the gents with buy-one-get-one gin and tonics all night for the fellas. More info here, Iron Balls - The Parlor

 

Octave Station #7

Zoey Jones will be turning on the tunes on the rooftop at Octave this weekend with soul and disco vibes and live vocals. VIP tables start at B4,900. More info here, Octave


 

TICC Christmas Dinner

The Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce will be having their Christmas dinner at the luxe Capella this year and it will support the Sharing for Life Foundation and the Camillian Home for the Aged. More info here, Capella

Killer Christmas

Drag After Dark 

So Bangkok will be putting on a night of drag and partying with Spicy Sunshine, Notty Naughtygurl, and Gigi Ferocious over two shows. Free entry, So Bangkok

 

CMNN Two

Jam is Bangkok’s best place for live music. It’s where Bangkok music comes from. This Friday, go to see Japanese Thai punks from LOWFAT, trio Murky, pop-punk band Rave, and rapper and guitarist Hia P with Yoga from Hell. More info here, Jam

 

Hard Techno with Tackthai

Frankie’s Rooftop, Grand Launch

Thonglor is getting a new rooftop nightlife venue this weekend with the launch of Frankie’s Rooftop, and they’re kicking things off with a party featuring tapas, craft drinks, and tunes. More info here, Frankie’s Rooftop

 

Stray Kids 

Get ready for a full performance from the eight members of Stray Kids, a K-Pop boy band that you can’t underestimate. Their song “Maniac” has reached up to 50 million views in just two weeks of release. More info here, Supachalasai Stadium

 

SweCham Christmas Luncheon 

The Swedish Chamber of commerce is bring the cold from home for a Christmas celebration at Westin Grande Sukhumvit featuring warm Vinglögg (mulled wine) along with Christmas carols, gingerbread house making, and Swedish Santa, Jultomten, will make a visit.
