Gus Dapperton

Indie icon Gus Dapperton is bringing his brand of bedroom pop (and famous fashion) to Bangkok this Dec 1. He’ll play tracks from his debut LP, “Where Polly People Go to Read,” at Live Arena RCA. The album was completely written, recorded, mixed and produced by the New York native. Early bird spots are sold out. Regular admission tickets (B1,590) are on sale now via Ticketmelon.

ABBA night at Foo John

Talad Noi’s sanctuary for underground art and music dabbles in kitsch with a night devoted to the Swedish supergroup ABBA. Local tribute band Super Trouper will play the hits, cocktails will venture into Swedish-inspired territory and DJs will keep the party going until late.

“Olá”—a rug exhibition by GUR

This exhibition at WTF features unique, handmade rugs created by Portuguese artist Celia Esteves—founder of contemporary design brand GUR—and Thai artist Somrak Sila. You can also see the work of Thai and Thailand-based artists Lee Anantawat, Marc Stuart, Parvit Tae Pichienrangsan and Saran Yen Panya at the exhibition.
