Sony’s first generation of tablets is one of the best designs we’ve seen so far. The Sony Tablet S comes with a magazine-with-the-cover-folded-back-like body that perfectly fits your palm for one-handed use. Its 9.4-inch multi-touchscreen promises smooth responsiveness, just like the iPad. On the outside, you’ll find the requisite 5MP rear camera and VGA front camera. Inside, the Tablet S runs on Android 3.2, featuring a lot of Sony’s exclusive features including control of Sony Bravia TVs, wireless media streaming and top-notch built-in speakers. It’s also PlayStation Certified, meaning you’ll enjoy a handful of games other Android tablets can’t offer (not a big deal given our test of the Sony Xperia). Sadly, it's a Wi-Fi-only device. B14,990 for 16GB, B17,900 for 32GB.
