Been there, done that? Think again.
Good news for Lat Phrao residents: from the same team that brought One Ounce for Onion and Espressoman to Bangkok comes a new cafe for serious coffee drinkers.
Located at Town in Town, OOObkk advertises a “no boundary” experience. Meaning, the space between barista and customer has been kept to a minimum, allowing for a little more interaction than usual and making the place accessible to everyone. The stylish, raw concrete décor—offset with vintage wooden furniture hand-selected by the Onion team—helps. It’s like going for coffee inside the Brooklyn loft you wished you owned.
Filter, syphon, drip: coffee is available almost any way you want it. Try the Dirty Coffee (B100), made with a shot of espresso poured over cold milk. Another winner is the signature Coffee Granita & Lemon with Meringue (B135), a blend of shaved ice black coffee, honey and lemon, all topped with burnt meringue.
Pair that with carrot cake with cream cheese and sweet carrot garnishing (B85) for a sweet-tangy combination.
Savory dishes like the Thai-style duck leg confit (B280) and the Korean pizza (B260), meanwhile, offer heartier portions.

Even if it’s not your birthday, you can still celebrate your 364 not-birthdays with a slice of cake or two. At least, according to this new dessert-centric cafe in Phrom Phong, that is.
Unbirthday Cafe goes hard on the whimsy. The sunroom-like dining area ticks all the on-trend boxes, with tons of natural light bathing a raw concrete room that’s filled out with wooden furniture. It makes for a fanciful setting for you to sink your teeth into some truly excellent desserts, courtesy of Dandelion Bake Studio.
The specialty here is, obviously, cake—red velvet (B155), pistachio mascarpone cream (B185), royal milk tea panna cotta (B150), even lemon sherbet, which comes in a lemon shell with torched meringue (B175).
Refresh your palate with yuzu orange tea (B120) and soak up the natural sunlight by the pool outside before going back in for another slice.

Thai renaissance woman Sopitnapa “Jeab” Chumpanee is an MC, actress, business owner and fashionista. Considering those bona fides, it should come as no surprise that she’s now branching out into entrepreneurship with her beauty shop-slash-cafe Faie Beauty Bar & Cafe.
The store side of things offers beauty products literally from head to toe—hair and makeup products, eyewear, shoes—all tested and recommended by Jeab.
When you’re done shopping, head over to the cafe for a coffee, brewed by the same group behind Orbit Espresso. Try the signature Beautiful on You, featuring coffee shaken with three kinds of milk—fresh milk, pistachio and almond milk (B145).
Desserts change every three days and include classics like red velvet cake (B160) and peach tarts (B160). Don’t miss the special “Ladies Day” promo going down every Wednesday this October—20 percent off drinks through the end of the month.
