Right on cue for the year’s hottest month, Ben & Jerry’s has announced it will be offering free ice cream this Apr 4, from noon-8pm.

The event is part of Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day tradition, which has been happening once a year since 1979 at Ben & Jerry’s outlets worldwide.

As this is Bangkok’s first time, expect lengthy lines not unlike the opening day last year. But fear not, they're also promising there’ll be some entertainment to keep you company.

Ben & Jerry’s was founded in 1978 in Vermont by Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, and is known for its outrageous flavor combos like Cherry Garcia (cherry ice cream with cherries and chocolate fudge flakes), Chunky Monkey (banana ice cream with chocolate fudge chunks and walnuts) and chocolate chip cookie dough.
