Federico Balzarini, a former bartender at London's Savoy now leading Vesper, will be making cocktails at La Bottega on May 25. Joined by La Bottega’s head chef Marco Avesani, together they will serve very Italian food and drinks for one night only. Both hail from northern Italy. 

Chef Avesani’s dishes for the night will be "tipsy"—think an apple pie (B350) with Grappa and tuna Carpaccio (B790) with Campari. Balzarini will be making classic cocktails with an Italian twist, for example, the Vecchio Caffe is a twist on the classic Irish Coffee with Vecchia Romagna—an Italian brandy. All cocktails are B390.

Vesper was awarded the 19th Best Bar in Asia, the third Best Bar in Thailand 2022, at the Bangkok ceremony in April.
