Above Eleven

If you’re looking for some tangy small plates that aren’t your usual tapas, a 33rd-story view and stiff Pisco sours, Above Eleven hits the spot. The Japanese-Peruvian menu ranges from seabass ceviche and duck confit to chicken teriyaki. The food is original, the produce is quality, and the cityscape views are great.

Babble & Rum (Bar)

Babble & Rum is not only a flagship restaurant, it’s also a proper bar with an outdoor terrace and a laid back upstairs area to put you in the mood for a breezy riverside night out. The riverside terrace shares the same black and white theme as the main restaurant, and is furnished with round rattan sofa seats and daybeds overlooking the Chao Praya.

This swanky Japanese party lounge combines Koi restaurant and next-door hotspot, The Club by Koi, with stunning 39th-floor views over the city. The California-born brand’s long, narrow space boasts a sultry ambience with leather upholstered seats, stunning views and a deeply polished bar. Avani Riverside Hotel's 26th-floor rooftop restaurant has transformed into the third global outpost of Portuguese celebrity chef Olivier Da Costa. Seen Restaurant and Bar can also be found in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Lisbon, Portugal. The menu is devised by chef Olivier himself, and his fresh and exciting take is not something you always associate with Bangkok’s many rooftop bars. There’s no beating the sky-high riverside view, either.

Taan runs with Bangkok’s pack of locally focused, innovative-yet-devoutly-Thai restaurants usually found in Charoenkrung back alleys or converted warehouses. There’s only one catch: this one sits inside a perfectly air-conditioned glass box 25 floors above Bangkok in the Siam@Siam hotel. The food is uncompromising, inventive, soulful and balanced.
