Having enacted government-approved safety measures—think cashless payment, social distancing and lots of face shields—
Mahanakhon Bangkok SkyBar is now serving all-day set menus, a la carte dishes and cafe bites from 11:30am-8pm each day.
There are two new set menus to choose from. The three-course option (B1,600++) features a pork jowl appetizer, a choice of Australian wagyu ribeye or seared Andaman sea bass for your main and roasted pineapple for dessert. The four-course menu (B1,800++) features salmon rillettes, foie gras, duck larb and a chocolate and banana dessert.
According to the restaurant, dining tables will be separated to create additional space between guests, and the restaurant will sanitize and seal all cutlery and equipment. Dining tables, chairs, handrails, exposed surfaces and all equipment used during service will be frequently sanitized, too.
Takeaway options are also available for pick-up in the lobby of King Power Mahanakhon. Unfortunately, the 78th floor rooftop is closed for the time being, so you won’t be able to enjoy the exhilarating (read: absolutely unnerving) experience of taking a selfie on the glass skywalk until further notice.
