This month, you can taste Err's modern Thai flavors without traveling to the Old Town
Chefs Bo and Dylan take over a kitchen in the heart of Siam.
This September, you don’t have to travel to the Old Town to try the modern Thai food at Err as it's now featured on the menu at Siam Discovery’s Cafe Now.
Opened last year, Err is the latest restaurant from chef couple Duangporn Songvisava and Dylan Jones of celebrated fine-dining institution Bo.lan. Considerably more casual, this drinking-and-dining spot in Tha Tien serves playful drinking food alongside various fermented, grilled and stir-fried dishes.
The whole menu is currently available at the Siam venue, including house-made preserved items like naem (grilled Northern-style cured pork, B250), Chiang Rai-style sai ua (curry sausage, B250) and sai krok Isaan (Isaan-style sausage, B280), and crunchy, snacky dishes like toasted watermelon seeds with kaffir lime leaf (B120) and the whole chicken skin (B220).
Need any more reason to give it a try? Err was recently named in Monocle magazine's list of 50 best restaurants around the world. Be warned, though, as the prices are slightly higher than the charmingly retro riverside venue.
Cafe Now, 3/F, Siam Discovery, Rama 1 Rd., 063-613-8563. Open daily 10am-10pm. BTS Siam
