Having been open only a few months and already established itself as one of our favorite places for breakfast and lunch,
Taper is expanding its menu.
Still focused on incorporating Asian flavors into modern techniques and presentation, the new menu jumps from nostalgic Thai dishes like the American fried rice (B360) to the so-hot-right-now grilled cheese (B280), which is served here with tumlueng (ivy gourd leaves) cream soup.
As for pasta, not only do they have fettuccini available now, but they’ve added more regional Thailand-inspired dishes like namprik-ong bolognaise (B290), made using chili paste from Chiang Mai.
The Boy Scout ice cream (coconut milk ice cream with frozen yolk and topping on toast, B245) is another nostalgic addition to the dessert menu.
