Charoenkrung’s beloved burger flipper—the one that pretty much saved us during the height of the pandemic—has found a new home in leafy Yen Akat.

On Sep 26, Little Market opens in a new space tucked away in a townhouse on Soi Yen Akat. It’s not hard to miss with its giant red arrow set out in front of the passageway. The cozy setup offers shared seating over long wooden tables with multicolored stools, and you can expect unique tuk tuk-upholstered banquette seats made specially for the restaurant.

Chef Chet Adkins and photographer Jason Lang are bringing all their classics, like the Triple Double (B249), which comes loaded with three beef patties, American cheese, garlic pickles, onions, mustard and mayo, as well as the Philly Bird (B199), loaded with chopped grilled chicken, American cheese, grilled onions, Philly sauce and kewpie on a toasted, buttered roll.

The sides here are second to none, with options like the loaded tots (B249) piled with sour cream, bacon and chives, and the chili cheese fries (B249) topped with piping hot beef chili, scallions and a house-made cheese sauce that recalls Cheese Whiz, the American supermarket staple.

There are some new additions to the menu, too, like the all-American Patty Melt (B279) made with Ranger’s Valley Black Angus beef, melted Swiss cheese and caramelized onions served on grilled Conkey’s Rye bread, and the Buffalo chicken tenders (B209), which sees spicy tenders deep-fried in panko crumbs and served with a choice of ranch or blue cheese dressing.

Drinks here feature fun with offerings like the iced sweet tea (B49), Arnold Palmer (half iced tea, half lemonade; B119), and milkshakes (B199) in a variety of flavors. Wine and beer will also be available.

There are plans for a grand opening party on Sep 26, so check the Facebook page for more details.
