The old favorite wipes the slate clean for a fresh start.

Quince returns with its new project Tabula Rasa, serving Italian food and more to come, starting on Sep 1, but there's still time to grab a bite at Quince through August.

Quince announced they’ll be opening as Tabula Rasa on social media this week after more than 12 years under the brand. The new name derives from restaurant Taverna Tabula Rasa in Zurich, Switzerland, home of their incoming chef Ivan Nardozza.

Tabula Rasa will be open on Sep 1 and have a two-week soft opening, available for brunch from 8:30am-3pm and dinner 4pm-9:30pm.

Quince has been serving high-end dishes since 2012, moving from its Sukhumvit Soi 45 space in 2018 to the Sansiri’s complex, Siri House, serving food spanning French, Thai, Korean, Italian, Mediterranean, and Japanese cuisine.

The space has racked up a number of awards over the years, including being named in BK Magazine’s Top Tables in 2022, under American chef Shane Reichenbach.

The Bangkok-born Quince brand is also still operating out of their Ho Chi Minh City Branch, Quince Saigon.
