It’s just across the parking lot from Smith, but bright and white bakery café Pastry-P (1/8 Sukhumvit Soi 49, Bangkok, 02-259-5663) is a far cry from its neighbor (for one, it’s also home to a gang of teddy bears). Swing by for a loaf of fresh-baked French bread (B160) or sit down at one of the mismatched tables for cake (B75-100) and coffee (cappuccino, B95). The café plans on adding a few savory dishes to the mix and they’ll be jumping on the burger bandwagon sometime this month.
