Move over Beard Papa's and Bake, there's a new Japanese treat in town.

Hokkaido-hailing cheese tart purveyor Bake made quite a stir when it landed in Bangkok several months ago, and there's already a new contender in town.

Introducing Osaka's Pablo. Since launching around two years ago, this creamy pudding-like cheese tart in the trademark crispy shell has been lauded as one of its hometown's must-try treats, causing some pretty lengthy queues.

And according to the newly-launched Pablo Cheese Tart Thailand Facebook page, the brand is coming to Bangkok with a shop set to open at Siam Paragon by early October. Hurrah!

Pablo's arrival follows the return of another cult fave Japanese dessert chain, Beard Papa's
