And they’re roasting their own coffee now, too.

As if you need another reason to visit OKONOMI, the brand beloved for its Ichiju Sansai concept (one soup, three dishes), they’ve now just rolled out an updated menu across all four branches that stretches out to the world of homespun comfort foods.

Did we mention they’re roasting their own coffee, too? We’ll get to that. First, the food.

OKONOMI’s updated menu is all about nostalgic flavors that stay true to the brand’s belief in “Mottainai,” or leaving no waste. While you can still expect a balance of nutritious food, proper portion sizes, and quality ingredients, get ready for some fun twists.

The Tuna Melt Sando elevates the American classic. Cold-smoked, confit tuna forms the base of a hearty tuna salad that’s grilled between Swiss cheese and sourdough.

The Grilled Cheese Sando & Tomato Miso Soup transforms the Western favorite with tangy, melty cheddar cheese and an umami-rich, miso-based tomato soup.

If you think it’s too hot for ramen, try the Mentaiko & Lemon Mazemen. This refreshing addition to the Mazemen (dry ramen) menu offers a lighter, brighter meal ideal for Bangkok’s summer months.

If you’re really hungry, get the Sakana Nanban lunch set. OKONOMI batters and fries salmon to a crispy golden brown and tops it with homemade  tartar sauce.

Dropping in for the Ichiju Sansai or a breakfast bento? Don’t miss two new seasonal fish options from Nagasaki, available from April until June. Wild itoyori (threadfin bream) is marinated in a robust hatcho miso, while hiramasa (yellowtail amberjack) is marinated in sake lees (kasuzuke), infusing it with umami.

Let’s not forget the coffee. In its Sukhumvit 38 branch, OKONOMI now roasts four kinds of coffee, including two blends (OKONOMI House Blend and Lorimer Blend) and two single origin options (KIIRO and MIDORI). A cup of specialty coffee: the perfect complement to a satisfying meal.

You can catch the updated menu items, like the new sandos, Sakana Nanban lunch set, and seasonal fish from Nagasaki, across all Okonomi outlets—Sukhumvit 38, Central Embassy, Asoke Towers, and EmSphere. Make sure to grab some of the new roast coffee while you are there.
