The fine-dining scene in Bangkok is roaring back from the pandemic doom, with more and more big names flocking to the Kingdom with their debuts. The latest arrival is Björn Frantzén from Sweden’s three-Michelin-starred restaurant, with his newest outpost Villa Frantzén opening on Soi Yen Akat on Jun 4.

The Swedish chef and restaurateur teased us with a recent Instagram’s post showing a sneak peek at his first establishment in Thailand. Villa Frantzén will follow a modern Nordic theme, just like the original Frantzén in Stockholm, but with few more Asian touches.

Interested? Frantzén also wrote in the caption that reservations for his newest project in Bangkok start at 10am this Friday, so mark your calendars.
