Get along little doggie.

Brought to you by the healthy minds behind GetFresh, Bangkok’s healthy eating suppliers, the decidedly comfort-food-focused Rodeo held their grand opening last weekend.

Found in the old Smoking Pug space at Mille Malle, the tap house features two floors and a long wooden bar on both sides. The design is what you’d expect from a bar called Rodeo, with sombrero wearing vaqueros drawing on you as you walk in, Wild West-themed touches, and, of course, cowboy hats. But it’s not rustic—the design is sleek and high end for a cowboy bar.

With about a half a dozen beers on tap, this is a beer spot featuring cocktails with a “Southern accent”, that will be featuring regular live music and DJs, so stay posted on events.

On the menu, led by Belfast’s Chef Sam, you’ll find a special focus on what they call “Mex-Tex” food, with the focus obviously being on the Mexican flavors. For the mains, you’ll find them divided into Mex and Tex. The big ticket items on the Mex side of the aisle are the pork carnitas and (B490) spiced beef tenderloin (B520), and on the Tex side you’ll find fun western staples like the popular buffalo chicken burger (B450) and pulled pork sandwich (B490).

For the appetizers, you’ll find the likes of pork carnitas flautas (B395) and carne asada tacos (B430) and on the western side of things you’ll find the usuals like buffalo wings (B250) and and jalapeno poppers (B250).
