With pop-opera to boot.

New executive chef Giuliano Berta is taking Medici back to its Italian roots with a revamped menu that focuses on authentic Italian cuisine with a modern twist.

Influenced by his mother’s cooking in Brescia, Italy, chef Giuliano combines innovative contemporary techniques and fresh ingredients to create an array of family-style sharing dishes, including fresh homemade pasta, modern interpretations of classic dishes and seasonal specialties from Italy. Expect lasagne casarecce layered with Australian beef cheek ragout and béchamel sauce (B650); pizza tartufata with mascarpone cheese, taleggio cheese, mozzarella cheese, porcini mushrooms and black truffle (B690); and spaghettoni all’astice (B 1,600)—fresh spaghetti with white wine, lobster bisque, tomatoes and basil.

Aside from the newly-launched menu, Medici’s latest rebranding also includes a brand new lounge area serving handcrafted cocktails, a range of bar snacks, aperitivo-style concoctions and a selection of Italian wines. Live musical performances also feature by Fivera, Thailand’s first and only pop-opera band, as well as other nightly events
