The long-time favorite Near Equal (22/2 Sukhumvit Soi 47, 02-258-1564) has now moved to a new, slightly easier-to-find location in a delightful house. The second floor boasts wooden floors and colored screens while downstairs there’s a selection of Thai furniture, handicrafts and knick knacks on sale. As for the kitchen, they whip up artfully-presented Thai dishes like stir-fried pea sprouts with oyster sauce (B180), tom yum kung (B280) and deep-fried chicken with lemongrass (B160).
