Here's a Japanese-Peruvian dining event worth getting excited about
Lord Jim's welcomes a guest chef from the Mandarin Oriental in Miami this month.
Here's another guest chef event worth excited about. This Jun 23-26, Lord Jim’s welcome chef Diego Oka, a specialist in Japanese-Peruvian nikkei cuisine from the Mandarin Oriental, Miami’s La Mar by Gaston Acurio.
His food will be featured on the buffet lunch (B2,500) and as set dinners at B4,200 for four courses and B4,700 for six courses.
Some of the dishes he'll be preparing include cebiche barrio (fish of the day, mussels, shrimp, crispy calamari and rocoto pepper ‘leche de tigre’), causa Nekkei (rocoto pepper mashed potato, tuna tartare, avocado, sweet chilli sauce, rocoto pepper cream and nori) and heart anticucho (grilled veal heart with potato and ají amarillo cream, choclo anticuchera and chalaca sauce).
