There are some seriously good looking sandos on this list.

If you have spent any time scrolling one of Bangkok’s many sandwich-obsessed online groups, you might already know that Larder, the Phrom Phong brunch spot and popular sandwich maker, is celebrating its second birthday with a now-customary guest chef sandwich fest. From now until July 28, you can catch 12 sandwich creations by some of the biggest chef names in the city. 
 
Last year’s celebratory sandwich special included the ranks of Tam Chudaree from Baan Tepa, Paolo Vitaletti from Appia, and Alvaro Ramos from Vaso. 
 
This time around, the names are no less enticing. Chalee Kader (BK Magazine’s Chef of the Year 2023, Wana Yook, 100 Mahaseth, Fran’s, Mickey’s Diner), Dylan Eitharong of Haawm (No. 6 in BK Magazine’s Top Tables 2023), as well as Valentin Fouache and Christophe Grilo (both of Michelin-starred Blue by Alain Ducasse) are just a few of the names busting out their sandwich chops for this year’s special. 
 
Right now, you can only grab the eats in-store or via Lineman (sorry you Foodpanda and Grab stans).

Chalee Kader

The Venue: 100 Mahaseth
The Sandwich: Cured tongue sandwich with a honeycomb-tripe-chimichurri, horseradish, mustard leaves, smoked sauerkraut, yellow mustard on a Larder-made caraway pretzel bun.
 
 

Jai Aruss

The Venue: Charmgang/Charmkrung
The Sandwich: Chicken satay, curry peanut sauce, ajaad pickles on Larder-made shokupan (Japanese-style milk bread).
 

Manuelo Pintore

The Venue: Giglios
The Sandwich: Italian sausage, garlic kale, seared pecorino, and confit garlic aioli on Larder’s sourdough.
 
 

Franck Le Bayon

The Venue: iODE
The Sandwich: Braised lamb leg, salsa verde, pickled fennel, jalapenos, and culantro on a Larder-made brioche bun.
 

Dylan Eitharong

The Venue: Haawm
The Sandwich: Hat Yai fried chicken, white barbecue slaw, and sweet chili sauce on Larder’s brioche bun.
 
 

Yannick Hollenstein

The Venue: L’Arome by the Sea
The Sandwich: Leberkäse (German meatloaf), sauerkraut slaw, fried egg, and wholegrain mustard on a Larder-made pretzel bun.
 

Alonso Zarate

The Venue: Ojo
The Sandwich: Jalisco-style pulled pork, sour cream, avocado, jalapeno pickles, yellow mustard, onion, tomatoes, and lettuce on a Larder-made Vietnamese baguette.
 
 

Valentin Fouache

The Venue: Blue by Alain Ducasee
The Sandwich: Larder smoked chicken sausage, Larder aged polish ham, confit red cabbage, fried onion, mushrooms, and cucumber pickle on Larder steam bun.
 

Christophe Grilo

The Venue: Blue by Alain Ducasee
The Sandwich: Pastrami, emmental cheese, confit onion, special sauce, green beans, and carrot slaw on Larder bagel.

The Sandwich: plant based cashew burrata, caramelized onion, roasted figs, honey, balsamic reduction, and lemon zest on Larder sourdough.

The Venue: Larder
The Sandwich: Pork schnitzel, tartare sauce, capers, wholegrain mustard, dill, and chives on Larder-made sourdough.
