La Scala (The Sukhothai, 13/1 South Sathorn Rd., 02-344-8888) brings in another renowned chef, Gaetano Trovato, the long-time owner of two-Michelin-Star Arnolfo Ristorante in Siena, Italy. Chef Trovato will be whipping up his family’s famous Tuscan cuisine, which will be paired with wine created by his brother, Giovanni. This time, you’ll have five days to taste his creations on Mar 6-10. Experience his lunch and dinner (prices range from B4,900-B7,700 with wine pairings), including dishes like baby porchetta (suckling pig leg and loin with cabbage and green apples); ravioli (scampi, goose liver and clams); and turbot with almonds, olives, cauliflowers and vanilla.
