Il Fumo's new-wave Portuguese series invites yet another accomplished chef
Chef Tiago Bonito will be flying in from Amarante for this seven-course feast.
Il Fumo’s ninth episode of "Portugal, The New Dawn" will welcome chef Tiago Bonito of one-Michelin-starred Largo do Paço in Amarante, Portugal, for a night of yet more new-wave Portuguese cuisine this Oct 29-30.
Chef Tiago cut his teeth at many top restaurants including the Algarve's two-Michelin-starred Vila Joya; three-Michelin-starred Alinea in Chicago; and three-Michelin-starred D.O.M. in São Paulo, Brazil, before settling in Amarante.
He'll be joining Il Fumo's chef Nelson Amorim in creating a seven course spread (B3,500/person) of haute Portuguese cuisine, highlighting dishes like Ibérico ham truffles, quail, and carpaccio de bacalhau (cod carpaccio). Wine pairing will be available for an additional B2,200.
