You no longer need to make any last-minute dashes to Hong Kong. Just in time for the Mid-Autumn Festival comes the news that Maxim's renowned mooncakes (aka mei-xin mooncakes) are now available in Bangkok.
Known for its lava custard and white lotus seed mooncakes made with a special double-roasting method, the brand's festive products have already been distributed to many countries.
Now for the first time, the mooncakes will be available in Bangkok at Siam Paragon, Emquartier, Central Chidlom and Terminal 21 from mid-August. The 185g white lotus seed mooncake with double yolk is priced at B385 while a box of four pieces of 45g lava custard is B768. Other fillings include mixed nuts, red bean paste, custard and oolong tea.
In the meantime, they are now taking pre-orders via Line (ID: meixinthailand) and [email protected], which will be ready to picked up at Paragon from Aug 21-Sep27. Note that you’ll also get a 10-percent discount if you order by Jul 25. www.fb.com/meixinmooncakethailand
