Burger fiends: the wait is over.

Homeburg mastermind Taiki Tsubota has announced that he will be opening a new outlet for his infamous burgers on Mar 15, titled Bun Meat & Cheese by Homeburg.

Taiki broke the Internet back in 2018 with news of a 1,000-strong waitlist and an average of only four burger servings per day at his “pay what you feel” pop-up in On Nut’s Hubba co-working space. Now fans have a slightly easier way to get their burger fix.

It has been revealed that the six-month pop-up at 72 Courtyard will serve 100 burgers a day, though the same exacting consistency is promised.

Expect super-light Japanese milk buns and perfectionist 170g patties topped with steamed cheese and optional additions, including caramelized onions, crispy shallots, sweet gherkins, pickled jalapenos, housemade ketchup and mayo. The burgers will be priced at B320, plus an additional B20-30 per topping.

Taiki is quick to point out that while Bun Meat and Cheese is not the same as Homeburg in terms of ingredients, it will employ the same techniques that shot Homeburg to viral fame.

"We want to serve a really good yet simple cheeseburger," he told us, before letting slip that Homeburg's new home will open in April or May.

1/F, 72 Courtyard, Sukhumvit Soi 55 (Thonglor). Open Tue-Sun 5pm-1am.

Clarification: This story was originally published under the headline "Homeburg is finally getting a permanent outpost on Thonglor," but has been changed to reflect that Bun Meat & Cheese is a new project by Homeburg.
