Set in an old teak house originally built sometime in the 1920s, new bar and restaurant Hemingway’s (1 Sukhumvit Soi 14, 02-653-3900. BTS Asoke) is causing quite a stir. With a menu that’s said to feature the food and drink much-loved by the intrepid author Ernest Hemingway, its leafy garden sounds like the perfect place to order some pizza, tapas or steak. More adventurous dishes include pan-seared wild caught Hokkaido scallops with cauliflower puree celeriac (B350) and angel hair with roasted asparagus, chive veloute, and King oyster mushroom (B360).
