If you’re into Bangkok’s dining scene, you’ll know Alain Ducasse’s Blue by Alain Ducasse at Icon Siam. Now, the experts at high-end French dining are dishing out baked goods with Blue by Alain Ducasse Bakery Boutique.
Still at Icon Siam and on the ground floor, the new spot features the work of chef Christophe Grilo, the executive pastry chef at Blue by Alain Ducasse, along with executive chef Wilfred Hocquet.
What can you expect? Right now the new space is offering a mix of classic and signature sweets—think croissants and pain au chocolat alongside chocolate hazelnut brioche and 48-hour fermented sourdough.
You can also grab Alain Ducasse Coffee and Alain Ducasse Chocolate from La Manufacture in Paris to pair with their assortment of baked goods. Also check out their apple caramel sandwich, or one of their savory options, such as sausage rolls.
Blue by Alain Ducasse, an official selection at the Top Tables 2023, was the first restaurant opened in Thailand by the legendary French chef, the first chef ever to own restaurants in three cities carrying three Michelin stars.
If you want some Alain Ducasse baked goods but don’t feel like making the schlep across the river, on Nai Lert there’s Ecole Ducasse, where they’re training the next gen of Bangkok chefs and where you’ll find the Ecole Ducasse Café, recently listed in BK’s top 50 spots to grab breakfast in the city.
