Having joined several pop-up events around Bangkok over the past year, Luca Thaiger, the Mexican food spin-off of the burger truck pioneer Daniel Thaiger, has found a semi-regular home. 

 

Taking place once or twice a month at the team's burger and steak restaurant, Crying Thaiger, "Taco Tuesdays" offer up a single-page menu of straight-up Mexican staples. 

 

These include tacos (B90/piece; B250/3 pieces) with chicken, pork, beef or lamb, cheddar cheese quesadillas (B140) and the foot-long El Carne burrito (B190), packed with beef steak, potato, eggs and cheese. 

 

While the date of the next "Taco Tuesday" is still TBA, there is another event slated for this Sunday, Jul 30, from 2pm onwards. See more on the Facebook event page.
