Well-known brunch spot Luka has opened up a new Luka Sukhumvit Soi 31, dishing out global comfort food made with locally sourced ingredients that’s fun and unfussy.

What’s more, unlike the OG location, this new space is open for dinner. The two-story venue can accommodate more than eighty people, and Luka’s specials and trademark meals are available throughout the day along with a full coffee and drinks menu.

Keeping with their tagline "global comfort food," this spot offers their reimagining of traditional recipes with a fun, distinctive touch. The dinner menu has a stronger Asian influence, with lots of spice, bolder tastes, and a focus on charcoal grilling.

The menu features some of the owners’ and chefs’ favorite international dishes—food that has inspired them. Despite being borderless, the fundamental components of Luka's cuisine include regionally sourced products from small-scale craft producers, including vegetables from Greensgarden in Chiang Mai, fish from Ko Lanta and Pranburi, single-origin chocolates from the cacao pioneers at Kad Kakao.

This dinner menu was overseen by one of Luka’s founding partners, F&B Director Andrew Hiransomboon, who created the original menu when Luka launched in 2015. He is joined by Head Chef Pinpraw “Praw” Dhanashoti, whose previous kitchen experience includes Quince and Sapparto Group (Rocket). Also contributing to the project were Chef Bank (Vishanu Prempuk) of Aromkwan and consulting chef “AJ” (Anucha Jittanupong, formerly of Igniv Bangkok).

A previous iteration of Luka, Luka Moto, closed in 2021, and Luka Sukhumvit 31 joins the original Luka Cafe and Luka Siri House on Soi Somkid.
