Singapore's art belt at Selegie welcomes a new coffee shop: Cups N Canvas.

Artistic tendencies are given rein at Cups N Canvas, a café (the Cups side) and art studio (the Canvas side) that opened in a conserved shophouse space.

The café sports items like pastas such as Greeno Pesto, linguine with basil chicken ($15.90), and sandwiches such as the PK duck, duck and Japanese cucumber with orange hoisin sauce on ciabatta ($9.90). For sweet treats, they have freshly-baked French apple cake served with ice cream ($6.50) and apple cheddar scones ($3). They also do all-day brekkie on weekends ($14.90-16.90).

Refreshing libations run the gamut from craft beers like Belgian beers and Swedish ciders ($8-16) to sweet potato latte ($4.80), iced cucumber mint tea ($5.80) and sticky date ice-blended shake ($6.80).

Behind the glass doors of the Canvas side, find monthly art installments, as well as printmaking and drawing courses.
